Our Story
Jennifer Krack ran out of gas in Whitefish, Montana in 1999. With a truck load of belongings she had left Seattle to follow the dream of living in Montana. All she knew of Whitefish was that it had both summer (Glacier National Park) and winter (Whitefish Mountain Resort) tourists and that seemed like the perfect place to start a business. With a dream and not much money, she started Remedies Day Spa, a massage and wellness company with the unique concept of all of the skincare products being made fresh in the kitchen. What ensued was a business that spanned northwest Montana, with 8 locations, 25+ employees, and a skincare line (Spa Appetit) of more than 80 products. Jennifer was married in 2003, and built the business while she and her husband raised 4 kids. As his custom home building business took off, she sold the business in 2014 to stay home with the kids. Miracle + Oil was the most popular of many handmade products at Remedies Day Spa. With Remedies having changed hands and then closing in 2017, it has been unavailable. Jennifer recently resurrected and improved the recipe and has now brought back Miracle + Oil by popular demand.
